This could be either from poor storage or light use. Marked 'top' on the outside at top. Detroit Mich.

Lens is a little cloudy-may need to be cleaned better. Found with a small group of old lenses that were very dirty and wrapped in brown tissue paper was falling apart some the still have original tags. 1 vintage almost antique 95 year old glass Monogram w script 'overland' clear lens.
