Many people think this is for overdrive, but no automatic Jaguar ever had overdrive during the 1950s or 1960s. It comes complete with an original escutcheon. It is an original Arrow item, made in England.

Recent arrivals include a load of Jaguar ck original parts and two mag coupes cars. This switch is in excellent condition. Neither the original switch not correct round escutcheon for these cars is currently available new.

A retro version of this switch is being made now but it not nicely as an original. The intermediate speed hold feature holds transmission in second gear, preventing it from shifting up during passing maneuvers or climbing a hill, for instance.
