The unit grounds to body with attaching screw. It has the Fomoco logo stamped above part number.

It is factory correct for a or 1969 Ford Thunderbird but will fit other model years of the era with similar body styles such as mustang cougar tiring fair lane galaxies comet cyclone Lincoln and many others. It has an internal mercury switch that closes the circuit when deck lid is opened thereby lighting light. The unit has been bench tested to be in perfect working condition.
