What i'm selling is a true Ford factory license plate light with all number letter stamping. Finally included are 2 oem original lamp hanging screws that were zinc dichromate plated. The only difference from my light is that the wire assembly is brand new.

The oem glass lens appeared to be in great shape, and I included a new lens gasket and a oem original bulb. Letter stamping lamp housing Ford door retainer fomoco glass fomoco date code sae l 71mg note I included a wire sleeve for this light, but i'm not sure if the wire sleeve was used on the license plate lights from the factory. This is a very nice restored lamp and will look great in concourse restorations or for someone who enjoys having Ford factory original parts. If you are a concourse buyer and don't think that the sleeve belongs on a license plate light, then simply cut off the wire sleeve.

The wiring is brand new and includes a new wire sleeve just like the Ford factory used in the late 60s.

A oem original grommet was put in and fits tight in the wiring. The license plate lights that come up for sale are just Ford galaxies service parts lights and are different from Mustang light in design.

Don't settle for foreign reproductions, keep your Mustang real with factory Ford parts. I don't have enough research to surely know if the wire sleeve was put on the wire from the factory. Worth the investment for your pony.

Restored back to factory condition.

Having a new wire assembly means not having to worry about conductivity problems that 50 year old wires cause from copper corrosion and brittle wire insulation that can brake and cause the light to stop working. If the sleeve does not belong with the wire and you like the look of the sleeve, then by keeping the sleeve, it will add extra protection to the wire from the outside elements.
